Corneal Collagen Crosslinking with Riboflavin (C3R) is an advanced treatment for keratoconus and corneal ectasia, conditions that cause the cornea to become weak and progressively thinner. This minimally invasive procedure strengthens the cornea by using ultraviolet (UV) light and riboflavin (Vitamin B2), which enhances collagen crosslinking, preventing further weakening.
